Bio

​​I have a PGCE in further education from the Bolton Institute of Higher Education and a degree in fine art from Sheffield Hallam University.
I was a lecturer and teacher for Manchester City Council for 24 years.
I taught watercolour painting, acrylics, printmaking, portraiture, life drawing, still life, landscape painting, and art and crafts.
Since 2013, I have worked as a freelance art teacher, teaching adults and people with learning difficulties.
I last exhibited a selection of my students’ work at the Royal Exchange, in August 2016.
